How To Fix a Computer That Turns On But Displays Nothing

 

The most common way that a computer "won't turn on" is when the PC actually does power on but doesn't display anything on the monitor.
You see lights on the computer case, probably hear fans running from inside, and may even hear sounds, but nothing at all shows up on your screen.
There are several possible reasons why your monitor isn't displaying information so it's very important that you step through an ordered process like the one I've given here

1)  Test your monitor. Before you begin more complicated and time consuming troubleshooting with the rest of your computer, make sure your monitor is working properly.
     It's very possible that your computer is working fine and your monitor is your only problem.

2) You need to clean your CMOS battery which is attached with your motherboard; this is just like a watch battery and after you clean it out by rubbing it a little bit put it back in. Then clean your RAM by pulling it out and also dust off your CPU. These solutions may not be the answer though: if you are still having problems, then you must check your monitor cable and the VGA card. Once done, reassemble your CPU and it should all start working again.

Problem windows defender?

When you run Windows defender receive error widows defender is not turned on

1. Did you make any changes on your computer prior to the issue?
2. Does the issue occur after installing another security?

If yes, you may disable another antivirus program, security & check if the issue occurs.

Perform the following troubleshooting methods:

Method 1:

I would suggest you to make the “Windows defender Service” startup type to “Automatic”.

Follow these steps:

a. Press “Windows key + R” from keyboard.

b. Type “services.msc” without quotes in the “Run” Window and hit enter.

c. Search for “Windows Defender Service”.

d. Make “Startup Type” to “Automatic”.

e. Restart the computer and then check how it works.

Method 2:

Perform System File Check (SFC), and then check if this fixes the issue.

Follow the steps:

a. Press “Windows Key + Q” to open Charms Bar.

b. Type “cmd” without quotes in the search box.

c. On the left pane, right click on the “cmd” option and select “Run as Administrator”.

d. Type ‘sfc /scannow’ without quotes and hit enter.

Note: It may ask for windows installation DVD to fix and to enable SFC to make more than minor repairs. Some files saved on your computer might get deleted when fixing corrupted files.

For your laptop, make hotspot manually

1. Open command prompt as an administrator

2. Type c:\windows\system32\netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=name key=password

3. Press Enter

4. For see your setup
    c:\windows\system32\netsh wlan show hostednetwork
  
5. Press Enter

6. For start your hotsspot
     c:\windows\system32\netsh wlan start hostednetwork

7. Go to network properties

8. Select change adapter setting

9. Now you can see new network adapter

10. Select which net you want to share "Wi-Fi" or "LAN" right click, go to properties, Select        sharing, check on allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection, select drop down menu and choose new adapter port which apear after you make in command prompt and click ok
